About India Chart School
Why this school exists
Most people in India enter the stock market through a tip from a friend, a WhatsApp forward or a reel that shows big profits. Very few first learn how the market works or how to read a chart. Many of them lose money and leave, believing the market is gambling.
It doesn’t have to be that way. India Chart School teaches the basics properly – in simple language, with Indian examples, and with interactive charts you can play with. Free.
About me – Karan Mahale

I am a Chartered Accountant from Nashik, Maharashtra. I have been studying charts as a technical analyst since 2018, with a long focus on Nifty and Bank Nifty futures and options. I have worked on a prop trading desk, where I saw first-hand how professionals think about risk. I also hold an NISM certification.
I founded India Chart School because I could not find one place that explained the market simply and made you practise. Reading about a hammer candle is easy. Spotting one at the right place on a live chart is a skill – and skills need practice.
How we teach
- Simple words. If a 16-year-old can’t understand a sentence, we rewrite it.
- Stories and Indian examples. Mandis, cricket, vada pav – not Wall Street jargon.
- Interactive charts. Build candles, find support, run an order book, simulate 100 trades.
- Honesty about risk. We tell you that most F&O traders lose money, because SEBI’s own studies say so.
What we don’t do
- We don’t give stock tips, calls or recommendations.
- We don’t run paid "signal" groups.
- We don’t promise returns.
I am not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst or Investment Adviser. Everything on this site is for education only. Please read our disclaimer.
